The UAE compliance reality

A market built on rules — and growing fast.

UAE businesses now operate under three layers of mandatory tax and licensing rules. Every SME owner needs a hand. Most firms charge too much; we charge what's fair, and explain what you're paying for.

The PremiereGate way

One advisor. One phone.
One bilingual team.

Big firms hand your file between four people. Free-zone bundlers vanish after Year 1. We do the opposite: a single named advisor who answers in Arabic or English, in two business hours, every time.

More about us
Native Arabic

Bilingual EN/AR delivery. Your filings, conversations, and documentation in either language — no translator needed, no slip-ups in tone or meaning.

Fixed fees

Every service has a published fee or a transparent band. No hourly billing. No surprise invoices. Scope changes are quoted before any work starts.

Subscription compliance

One monthly retainer covers bookkeeping, quarterly VAT, annual CT, and a license-renewal calendar. Predictable for you, predictable for us.

Penalty cover

If a filing is delayed solely because of us and you face an FTA penalty, we reimburse it up to the value of fees paid for that service in the past 12 months.

Compliance calendar

The dates that matter in 2026 – 2027.

Three regulatory waves are converging this year. Miss any of them and you owe penalties. We track all of them for every client by default.

14 April 2026

New CT penalty regime

Cabinet Decision 129/2025 takes effect — late-filing penalties now AED 500/month for the first 12 months, then AED 1,000/month.

Time-sensitive

Small Business Relief sunsets December 2026.

If your business has revenue under AED 3M, you have one more tax period to claim SBR's zero-tax election. After that the relief is gone — for good. We help you make the most of the final window and plan your transition into a standard CT footing.

Frequently asked

Questions SME owners ask us first.

Do I really need to register for Corporate Tax if I'm a small business?

Yes. Corporate Tax registration is mandatory for almost every UAE legal entity, including most free-zone companies, regardless of revenue or whether you'll actually pay tax. Even if you qualify for Small Business Relief (revenue ≤ AED 3M), you still file an annual return — there's no exemption from filing. Penalties for late registration start at AED 10,000.

What is Small Business Relief and why does it matter to me?

SBR is a UAE Corporate Tax election available for tax periods ending on or before 31 December 2026. If your revenue is at or below AED 3M for the period (and for every prior period), you can elect SBR and your taxable income is treated as zero — no CT to pay. You still file a simplified return. Once your revenue ever exceeds AED 3M, SBR is permanently lost. The relief itself sunsets after 31 December 2026.

Can I file VAT and CT myself, or do I need an advisor?

You can file directly via EmaraTax. Most SME owners do for the first cycle and then realize the time cost — and the price of small mistakes (wrong classification, missed input VAT, late submission). Our quarterly VAT service is AED 1,200 per filing. The math usually favors hiring out, especially once a CT return is in the picture.

How does e-invoicing affect my business?

Phase 1 is mandatory from 1 January 2027 for businesses with revenue ≥ AED 50M, with ASP (Accredited Service Provider) appointment required by 31 July 2026. Phase 2 from 1 July 2027 covers all VAT-registered businesses. We help you choose an ASP, configure your accounting system to issue compliant e-invoices, and integrate with the FTA's network on time.

Are you a registered FTA Tax Agent?

Tax Agent registration is one of our 2026 priorities (the FTA requires Bachelor's degree, three years of experience, Arabic + English proficiency, and an exam). In the meantime, every return we prepare is signed by you as the taxable person — we are the preparer, you are the filer. This is fully compliant and is how the majority of UAE SMEs handle their tax filings.

Do you work in Arabic or English?

Both, natively. Engagement letters, calls, emails, WhatsApp, FTA correspondence — whichever language you're most comfortable in. Bilingual delivery is the default, not an upcharge.

What happens if you miss a deadline?

Our standard service-level commitment files VAT seven business days early and CT thirty days early. If a filing is delayed solely due to our fault and triggers an FTA late-filing penalty, we reimburse the penalty up to the value of fees paid for that service in the past twelve months. This is a contractual term in our MSA, not just a marketing promise.
